Free Bulk URL Status Checker
Check the HTTP status code of up to 100 URLs at once – or of every URL in your XML sitemap. Find 404s, 5xx errors and redirects in seconds and export the results to CSV.
What is a Bulk URL Status Checker?
A bulk URL status checker requests many URLs at once and shows the HTTP status code each one returns – 200 OK, 301/302 redirects, 404 Not Found, 410 Gone or 5xx server errors. It is the fastest way to find broken and redirected URLs in a list.
Use it after a site migration, to check backlink targets, to clean up your XML sitemap or to test a list of URLs from Search Console. Results can be filtered by status and exported to CSV.

| Problem | Why it matters | How to fix it |
|---|---|---|
| 404 Not Found | Lost visitors and wasted link value. | 301-redirect to the best matching page. |
| 5xx server errors | Google slows down crawling. | Check error logs and plugins. |
| Redirects in the sitemap | Wastes crawl budget. | List only final 200 URLs in the sitemap. |
| Soft 404s | Error pages that return 200. | Return a real 404 status. |
| Slow URLs | Poor UX and crawl efficiency. | Enable caching, optimise heavy pages. |
Frequently asked questions
What does each status code mean?
2xx means success, 3xx a redirect, 4xx a client error such as 404 Not Found or 410 Gone, and 5xx a server error.
Is a 404 bad for SEO?
A 404 for a page that really no longer exists is normal. It becomes a problem when important pages, linked pages or sitemap URLs return 404.
Should I use 404 or 410?
410 Gone tells Google the page was removed on purpose and is dropped a little faster. Both are fine for deleted content.
Why does a URL show 403 here but work in my browser?
Some firewalls and security plugins block automated requests. Check that Googlebot is not blocked as well.
How many URLs can I check?
Up to 100 per run. Split larger lists into batches.
